Sam Parsons - BSc. (Hons.) Acupuncture, MBAcC, FEA Cosmetic Acupuncture
My name is Sam Parsons. In 2017 I completed a 3 year Honors degree (BSc Hons. Acupuncture), at the Northern College of Acupuncture in York. I am also a fully registered and insured member of the British Acupuncture Council.
In addition to the bachelors degree above, I have completed further CPD (Continued Professional Development) in Auricular (ear) Acupuncture, Scalp Acupuncture and Facial Enhancement / Cosmetic Acupuncture. I have also completed further study and training in Therapeutic Massage
I am deeply passionate about Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine and believe as a therapy / Medicine it can deliver profound results in a Dynamic and holistic way. Providing much needed relief and support to patients struggling to cope with painful conditions and managing their health and well-being. Acupuncture works well with western medicine or as a stand alone treatment.
Before studying Acupuncture I worked as a qualified Dental Nurse within both the NHS and Private sector. It was this career that first introduced me to Acupuncture whilst researching treatment options for people diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia / Jaw Pain of which Acupuncture provided a less invasive treatment modality for this condition and the more I read up about it the more it resonated with me as a person and a future practitioner.
I have Acupuncture regularly myself to help me deal with musculoskeletal pain, PMT, Sleep and all round well-being.
I am a single mother of a fantastic 14 year old and a delightful 2 year old shih-tzu dog. I have lived in London, Scotland, Devon, North Yorkshire and now Sheffield.
