Cancellation Policy

24 hour cancellation policy

Stability Acupuncture operates a strict 24 hour cancellation policy. Failure to give a full 24 hours notice to cancel an appointment will result in the FULL COST of treatment being charged regardless. This will be billed via paypal.

GDPR Privacy Policy

This Practice is committed to the privacy of its patients

Stability Acupuncture gathers information pertaining to your medical and social history as well as consent to treat in order to establish a diagnosis and treatment plan. Personal information is treated as stirctly private and confidential and is used solely for the purpose for which it is collected. Information kept on file is stored securely and will not be released to a third party without the express consent of the client or as required by law.

We will retain personal and medical records for a period of 6 years. All client records are recorded by hand/manually and kept in a locked, fire proof cabinet within a locked clinic unit with a further locked and alarmed business premises. Patients have the right to request deletion of data at any time. The practitioner recerves the right to over-ride the deletion if it is deemed in the best interest of the client/patient to retain the data,

On-line Booking - Patient information that is collected for this is:

Name / mobile telephone number / e-mail address. The information is gathered solely for the purpose of booking appointments and to send out reminder notification of appointment date and time. (reminders are kept to a minimum). The booking site is password protected as is the laptop and mobile devices used to access the booking system. Patients have the right to request deletion of the data at the discretion of the practitioner.

Social media - Facebook, twitte and instagram are used as marketing tools. We do not share any follower details with third parties. Followers have the right to unfollow the social media accounts at their own discretion at any time.

We correspond with patient’s via the mobile telephone number they provide and / or email address. If you have a preference please advise the practitioner as soon as possible.
